I tried out a new Fall WW recipe I found for Pumpkin hot dog buns on the WW app. I didn't quite like how the dough worked for hot dog buns but really liked the taste of the dough itself. I tried it a couple of other different ways which turned out better!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup self rising flour

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1/4 tsp salt (I omit the salt now myself)

  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/4 tsp garlic or onion powder

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp everything bagel seasoning or poppy seeds

Instructions:

  1. Mix first five ingredients together until dough starts to form.

  2. Knead dough for about 2 minutes.

  3. Cut dough into four equal parts, roll into 4 1/2 inch long ropes and place on lined cookie sheet.

  4. Lightly press down to slightly flatten.

  5. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning or poppy seeds.

  6. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.

  7. Enjoy!
