I love bubble up casseroles so I decided to try making a new one based on my cheeseburger pasta and it turned out pretty well! It is like a cheeseburger in casserole form!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey

  • 1 medium red onion, chopped

  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped

  • one batch of 2 ingredient pizza dough: (I used biscuits in the video but no longer do)

  • 1 1/8 cup self rising flour (1/8 cup for kneading)

  • 3/4 cup Nonfat plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 cup 40% less fat cheese

  • 1/4 cup mustard

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 2-3 tsps minced garlic

  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large pan, cook turkey with onions and bell pepper until turkey is browned.

  2. Pepper and salt to taste.

  3. Once turkey is browned, add in garlic and let cook for about a minute.

  4. Add in tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and mustard and stir.

  5. Add in half a cup of the cheese and stir.

  6. Cut up dough into small pieces and add in, mixing until dough start to break down.

  7. Pour into a prepared 13X9 casserole dish and bake, uncovered, at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

  8. Top with remaining cheese and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  9. Enjoy!
