Egg Roll In a Bowl Soup

All the flavors of an egg roll in a healthy soup!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz Shady Brook Farms 93% lean ground turkey

  • 3 tsp Minced garlic

  • 1⁄4 tsp Ground ginger(or 2 tsp fresh)

  • 2 cups Uncooked carrots, chopped

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil

  • 1⁄4 tsp, to taste Black pepper

  • 6 cups Fat free chicken broth

  • 1 head of Uncooked green cabbage, chopped (about 8 cups)

  • 6 Tbsp Low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 medium bunch of Uncooked scallion(green onions)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot on medium/high heat, cook turkey until cooked browned.

  2. Add garlic and ginger and cook about a minute, or until fragrant.

  3. Add in the sesame oil, onion and carrots and cook until veggies are soft.

  4. Add chicken broth, cabbage, green onions, soy sauce, and pepper.

  5. Simmer the soup for 15 minutes or until the cabbage begins to wilt and soften.

  6. Enjoy!
