One Pot Italian Tortellini Soup

Easy one pot Tortellini soup!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 13 oz Oscar Mayer Selects Hardwood smoked uncured turkey sausage, cut into slices

  • 9 oz Member's Mark Five cheese tortellini

  • 1 medium Uncooked onion, chopped

  • 6 tsp Minced garlic

  • 3 3⁄4cups Fat free chicken broth

  • 1 3⁄4 cup Water

  • 14 1⁄2 oz No salt added diced tomatoes

  • 8 oz Fresh baby spinach

  • 1 tsp Dried basil

  • 1⁄4 tsp Black pepper

  • 1⁄4 tsp Red pepper flakes- optional

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, on medium/high heat, cook sliced sausage and onion until onion is softened and sausage is heated through.

  2. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes longer.

  3. Stir in the broth, water and tomatoes.

  4. Bring to a boil.

  5. Add tortellini and return to a boil.

  6. Cook until tortellini is almost tender, stirring occasionally.

  7. Reduce heat; add the spinach, basil, pepper and pepper flakes.

  8. Cook 2-3 minutes longer or until spinach is wilted and tortellini are tender.

  9. Enjoy!
