Easy Split Pea Soup /Dump & Go Slow Cooker Cozy Soup Recipe

This slow cooker split pea and ham soup is easy to make and low in points but filling and delicious! It takes just a few minutes of prep and then you just dump all the ingredients in, set it and forget it!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Hatfield Traditional ham steak

  • Hambone

  • 16 oz Green split peas, rinsed

  • 4 cups Fat free chicken broth

  • 2 cups Water

  • 1 large Uncooked sweet onion, chopped

  • 1 cup Uncooked carrots, chopped

  • 1 cup Uncooked celery, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp Minced garlic

  • 1⁄2 tsp Dried sage

  • 1⁄2 tsp Dried thyme

  • 1⁄2 tsp Dried rosemary

  • 2 Bay leaves

  • Black pepper-to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to your slow cooker, I used a 7 qt crockpot.

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-9 hours or until the peas are tender.

  3. Enjoy!
