Easy Spicy Meatloaf
I tried out a new recipe this week with this spicy meatloaf. I found the recipe in the WW app but made some changes to it to make it more to our liking! It was delicious was the perfect cozy comfort food for a cool Fall day!
How to Make This:
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 pounds Uncooked 93% lean ground beef
1 cup Uncooked rolled oats
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
6 oz, mild or spicy, diced Canned green chile peppers
1 large egg
1 Tbsp Chili powder
2 tsp Ground cumin
8 oz Canned tomato sauce, divided
1 tsp minced garlic
1⁄2 cup Fat free salsa
1 oz Pickled jalapeno peppers
Cooking spray
Instructions:
Spray a standard size loaf pan with cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients, except half of tomato sauce, in a large mixing bowl.
Place meatloaf mixture into prepared pan, pressing in and smoothing the top.
Bake at 375°F for 60 minutes.
Spread remaining sauce over meatloaf and jalapenos, and cook 5 minutes more.
