Easy Air Fryer Apple Fritters

These easy apple fritters start off with the two ingredient dough and with just a couple of more ingredients, including fresh apples, you have a tasty, healthier version!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Plain fat free Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup White self-rising flour

  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp Ground nutmeg

  • 1 tsp Truvia Natural sweetener with brown sugar blend

  • 1 medium apple, diced(you want to use a somewhat tart variety)

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • olive oil spray

  • 4 Tbsp Powdered sugar (confectioner's)

  • 2 tsp -1 Tbsp Water (depending on desired consistency)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium sized bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar blend and stir well.

  2. Add in Greek yogurt and stir well.

  3. Peel and chop your apple into small pieces.

  4. Mix apple into dough until well incorporated. Dough will be very sticky.

  5. Divide dough into 4 equal parts.

  6. Spray your air fryer with a little olive oil and place the dough quarters into the basket.

  7. Slightly press down each with a fork to flatten.

  8. Spray tops of dough with olive oil and air fry at 375 for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying the other side with olive oil.

  9. While fritters are cooking, make glaze by mixing together confectioners sugar and water.

  10. When done, remove fritters to a cooling rack and pour or brush on glaze.

  11. Enjoy!
