Banana Cupcakes with Nutella Frosting

I found this recipe on the WW site and knew I had to try them! These banana cupcakes are easy to make and so delicious! The Nutella frosting adds a perfect finishing touch and compliments the banana bread flavor of these cupcakes! They are a sweet treat that the whole family will love!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • Ingredients for cupcakes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1⁄2 tsp baking powder

  • 1⁄2 tsp table salt

  • 1⁄2 cup plain fat free Greek yogurt

  • 1⁄2 cup banana puree(2 bananas)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1⁄2 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • Ingredients for frosting:

  • 1 cup fat free whipped topping

  • 3 Tbsp Nutella Hazelnut spread with cocoa

Instructions:

  1. Mix bananas, yogurt, egg, sugar, vanilla, and coconut oil together until well combined.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together.

  3. Fold into banana mixture until incorporated.

  4. Evenly distribute the batter in prepared cupcake pan.

  5. Bake ate 350 for 15-18 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Mix together whipped topping and Nutella and evenly distribute the frosting on the cooled cupcakes. about 4 tsp per cupcake

  7. Enjoy!
