EASY Homemade Granola- High Protein, Healthy, No Sugar Added Granola🥣😋
This easy, versatile, homemade granola is full of healthy fats and protein but no added sugar! It is lightened up to make it lower in calories and fat than traditional granola but full of flavor! It is great for breakfast, a snack or to use in things like parfaits!
How to Make This:
Dry Ingredients:
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup nuts or seeds of choice (I like to use 1/2 cup almonds and 1/2 cup pepitas)
3 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 scoops protein powder (I use Isopure zero carb Protein Powder, Creamy Vanilla)
½ cup dried cranberries, 50% less sugar
Wet Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup pbfit powder & 3 Tbsp water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup Lakanto Sugar Free Maple Syrup
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300 F°.
In a medium bowl, add all the dry ingredients, minus the cranberries, and mix until combined.
In a large bowl, add and stir together all the wet ingredients.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until well combine until everything's well coated.
Spread the granola mixture on non stick baking tray (line with parchment if not using non stick tray) and bake for 40-45 minutes. Halfway through baking time (2o minutes) flip the granola pieces, and bake until granola is golden and crispy on top.
Remove from the oven, break up granola into chunks.
Add dried cranberries and continue to break up granola and mix cranberries in.
Allow to cool completely. The granola will continue to crisp up
