🍕2- INGREDIENT Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust🍕

This 2-ingredient high-protein pizza crust is the perfect way to satisfy your pizza craving in a healthier way! Customize it by adding your favorite toppings, and you’ll have delicious pizza the whole family is going to love!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • For Crust:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (I use 2% milkfat)

  • 1 1/8 cup Self rising flour-divided (or make your own: 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt)

  • Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce ( I use my homemade marinara)

  • 1 cup (4 OZ) shredded part skim mozzarella cheese

  • 16 slices Turkey Pepperoni

  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Whatever toppings you'd like!

  • 1 tsp Olive oil to spritz pizza pan and top of dough

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. Blend cottage cheese until smooth.

  3. Add 1 cup self rising flour to a medium size bowl and then add in the blended cottage cheese and mix until dough starts to form.

  4. Remove and knead on a floured surface for for a couple of minutes(I factored in ⅛ cup of flour into the recipe builder to knead and roll out the dough).

  5. Spritz a 12 inch non stick pizza pan with olive oil.

  6. Roll out dough to a roughly 12 inch circle, using more flour if needed.

  7. Transfer the dough to your prepared baking sheet and press to fit.

  8. Spritz top of dough with olive oil.

  9. Pre-Bake the crust in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.

  10. Remove from oven. Spread on the sauce and top with the cheese and pepperoni. Sprinkle on Italian seasoning.

  11. Bake at same temp for another 5 minutes until cheese melts.

  12. Enjoy!
