Tex Mex Style-Baked Beans
This Weight Watchers recipe for Tex Mex-Style Baked beans is a delicious, easy side for any BBQ or grilling you are doing. They have a ton of flavor for not a ton of points!
How to Make This:
Ingredients:
2 15oz cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 14oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 14 oz can or 1 3/4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1/4 cup strongly brewed coffee
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar (dark brown is best)
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or to taste
1/4 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together except for cheese and bake, covered, at 350 for 2 plus hours or until sauce thickens. Serve topped with 1 Tbsp cheese.
