Easy One Skillet Sausage Pasta

This easy one skillet meal comes together in minutes and packs a ton of flavor!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 13 oz turkey Polska Kielbasa

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes

  • 1 1/2 cups 1% milk

  • 3/4 cup fat free chicken broth

  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta (dry)

  • 1 1/2 cup low fat cheese ( I use a 40% less fat cheese)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet cook sausage and onion together on medium high heat, until onions start to soften.

  2. Add garlic, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Stir in rotel, tomatoes, milk, and chicken broth and pasta and stir well.

  4. Bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer and for 8-10 minutes until pasta is tender.

  6. Stir in cheese and let sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.

  7. Enjoy!
