Cheesy Baked Chicken Breast

This Easy cheesy baked chicken comes together in minutes and is full of flavor! It is also low carb and low points!

How to Make This:

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Uncooked boneless skinless chicken breast

  • 3 cups marinara sauce homemade marinara

  • 1 cup Part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1⁄2 cup Kroger Shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp Granulated garlic

  • 1⁄2 tsp Black pepper

  • 1⁄4 tsp Red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Cut chicken breasts in half and lay in a 13X9 inch casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.

  2. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic, pepper and red pepper. Flip and do the same to other side.

  3. Pour marinara sauce over chicken and spread to completely cover chicken.

  4. Bake at 375F, uncovered, until chicken reaches an internal temp of 165F.

  5. Mine took an hour, but it will depend on the thickness of your chicken.

  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan on top.

  7. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and bake in the oven, uncovered, at 375F for an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  8. Enjoy!
