Lightened Up Peppermint Rice Krispie Treats
One of my favorite easy sweets to make on WW is rice krispie treats. During the holidays I like to add peppermint to them for a holiday flavor. These Peppermint Rice Krispie Treats are so easy but so tasty and they make a perfect Christmas sweet treat!
How to Make This:
Ingredients:
5 cups rice cereal 8 oz marshmallows
2 Tbsp light margarine or butter spread
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
20 Bob's sweet stripes peppermints
Instructions:
Crush or chop up 15 Bob's peppermints and set aside.
In a large pan on low/medium heat, melt margarine.
Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
Add in peppermint extract and mix followed by cereal.
Stir in peppermint pieces and press mixture into a prepared 13X9 pan.
Crush up remaining 5 peppermints and sprinkle on top, slightly pressing them into the top.
Enjoy!
