Easy breakfast version of the 2-ingredient dough bombs!
How to Make This:
Ingredients:
1 1/8 cup White self-rising flour, divided.
1 cup for dough and 1/8 cup to knead and roll out dough.
1 cup Plain fat free Greek yogurt, divided. 3/4 cup for dough, 1/4 cup for eggs
4 large eggs
8 slices Canadian bacon
1 cup total of veggies, I used 1/2 cup chopped red onion and 1/4 cup each of red and green bell pepper.
1/2 cup Great Value Reduced fat finely shredded fiesta blend cheese freshly ground
black pepper, to taste
Olive oil cooking spray
Instructions:
Whip eggs in a bowl.
Remove a couple of Tablespoons to small bowl and set aside.
To the rest of the eggs, add in yogurt, whip again until all incorporated.
Cut up canadian bacon into small pieces.
In a large frying pan, on medium heat, add canadian bacon and veggies and pepper to taste.
Cook until veggies are softened and canadian bacon is slightly browned.
Add in eggs and cook on low/medium heat until eggs are fully cooked.
To make the dough, mix the flour and yogurt together. Knead for about 5 minutes.
Cut the ball into 8 equal parts.
Roll out each part into roughly a 5 inch diameter circle.
Add about 4 Tbsp of egg mixture to the center of the dough, top with 1Tbsp cheese.
Pull sides of dough up and together and pinch to close.
Brush egg, that you had previously set aside, on tops of dough balls.
Spray air fryer tray with olive oil, place bombs in and cook in air fryer at 400 for 4-5 minutes.
If baking in the oven, bake at 425 for about 15 minutes.
Enjoy!
